MIGUEL VIEIRA collection
“A year ago, TASHI challenged me to create two pieces of jewellery, and it made sense that I design a necklace and a ring incorporating the Hail Mary… it means a lot to me. Fortunately, the collection was remarkably successful and there were several requests to create another jewel. ”

Miguel Vieira is a man of strong beliefs and principles, thus continually wearing two scapulars. For the designer, more than an object of devotion, the scapular is a symbol of protection and luck. This association led Miguel to reinterpret the scapular, creating magical jewellery. The very same magic part of the TASHI woman, the kind of woman who knows the power of belief and the strength of her convictions.
It was alongside names like Versace, Prada and Gucci that Portuguese designer Miguel Vieira was a part of Italy this year, being the first Portuguese designer to venture into the official calendar of Milan Men’s Fashion Week – the world’s leading men’s fashion week.
A NECKLACE in silver and gold with a white zirconia setting. This necklace inspired by the scapular holds a very special prayer, the Hail Mary. The prayer is discreetly engraved along the ends of the necklace. In the centre, the jewellery also has a silver and gold clasp that can be adjusted for length, creating different looks. TASHI logo and Miguel Vieira’s signature on the reverse.
The RING is the perfect piece to match the necklace in the collection, developed with the same symbolism. A jewel in silver and gold, set with white zirconia, and just as with the necklace, includes the Hail Mary. The prayer is engraved along both sides of the ring. A work of extreme detail lending it a feeling of secrecy as it is almost unnoticeable. Ring interior bears Miguel Vieira’s signature.
